Our Trades Programs are set up to be run with 2 days per week with Theory Instruction in a classroom setting and 3 days per week where the students will be placed in a shop or dealership, or place of business of their choice to work side by side with a Licensed Technician or certified personnel for their Practical hands on Training after their first initial 3 weeks of essential skills training; except in the case of the Personal Support Worker Program where they will spend up to 16 weeks in the classroom before switching into their 2 days class and 3 days placement.

Human Services Counselor Program where they will spend up to 19 weeks in the classroom before switching into their 2 days class and 3 days placement.

NEW COVID SETUP:  Trades Classes (ONLY) will now be split with smaller numbers in the classroom beginning in September.  The first 3 weeks half the students will attend mornings with afternoon assignments at home, the other half will attend afternoon with morning assignments to be done at home in order to keep us on task for the first 3 weeks, the next 27 weeks half will attend class days Mondays and Tuesdays with placements Wednesday to Friday, the other half will attend placements Monday to Wednesday with Classroom days Thursday and Friday. The last two weeks of review will be mornings and afternoons again same as first three weeks.  Students will be required to wear a mask throughout the building, until cases are lower.

 All students will be temperature checked daily.

  PSW Program and HSC Program may qualify for FREE Tuition for NB Residents, depending on eligibility, through www.workingnb.ca.

IF the Province reverts back to SHUT DOWN, East Coast Trades College is prepared to go online with virtual lectures, resources for all students which will be provided when you receive your books and materials and readily available instructors for help, placements will continue as long as the business stays open.  If you have any questions regarding this please contact us.

Confirmation Fees: are non-refundable, due 30 days from day of acceptance, and will be applied towards tuition) Exception: If program is cancelled due to lack of enrollment, College will refund confirmation fees paid.

All International Students are required to be fully vaccinated by an Canadian approved Covid-19 to be accepted.

IELTS: Overall Score of 6 with no less that 5.5 in listening, writing, reading
